Tools and Materials
If you’ve read through the rest of our registry, it will make complete sense that the extent of the tools and materials we require is enough to deserve its own entire category. With guidance from highly recommended books and real life homesteaders, we’ve planned out which projects make the most sense to start on right away.
Seasoned DIY builders and critical thinkers helped us refine our initial lists, resulting in a much more practical list of things that will allow us to start building the bones of our homestead in the most cost-effective way.
The Perfect Workshop
We’ve consulted with the experts, AKA Barry, and have determined which tools will provide the versatility and appropriate level of capabilities to complete our projects with ease and efficiency. With a few new tools each year, we’ll soon have the workshop of our dreams and can take on just about any project we can dream up.

Building Our Homestead
We’ve planned a ton of DIY projects to start crafting our permaculture homestead. However, we can’t fully price these out until we’ve observed a full year of patterns on the property. These observations will allow us to determine the optimal location and scale of each project without interrupting the existing functional systems.
